Jeffrey Dauray

Co-Chief Investment Officer

Jeffrey Dauray serves on RLJ’s executive team as Co-Chief Investment Officer with departmental responsibility for RLJ’s transactions. Jeff, with co-partner Kate Henriksen, works in close coordination with RLJ’s CEO, Leslie Hale, on all RLJ corporate strategic initiatives involving acquisitions and dispositions of assets.

Jeff initially joined RLJ’s senior team in February 2009 via its predecessor Private Equity Platform (RLJ Development, LLC) as the company’s Vice President of Acquisitions. Shortly thereafter, RLJ Real Estate Fund III became a fully-invested $1.2 Billion PE fund during a constrained market cycle helping firmly cement Jeff’s role on RLJ’s seasoned team. RLJ RE Fund III was later included in the May 2011 roll-up and successful IPO of RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE:"RLJ"). After the IPO, Mr. Dauray was promoted to Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for RLJ Lodging Trust with responsibility for sourcing and structuring the REIT’s acquisitions. Jeff and team continue to target investments in individual hotels, strategic asset portfolios, whole loans, joint ventures and entity level transactions.

A 30-year veteran of institutional investment real estate, Mr. Dauray's career is comprised of senior positions in RE private equity investment, RE investment banking, CRE brokerage and REO asset management for Bank of America. Since 1985 Jeff's individual real estate transaction volume exceeds US $8 Billion.

Mr. Dauray received his Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the AHLA Hospitality Investment Roundtable, ULI Hotel Development Council, the New York Hospitality Council, the Capital Lodging Forum, and a voting member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) (formerly known as the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association).
